17kg down and a new relationship with food: Kayla’s post-Covid comeback

After gaining weight during the Covid lockdowns, Kayla joined The Right Fit in January with a large goal that felt both impossible and tied to her self-esteem. The pressure of potential success or failure made starting feel incredibly daunting.

After gaining weight during the COVID lockdowns, I joined The Right Fit in January. I was skeptical of the process: I had a large goal. On the one hand it felt like an impossible task and on the other hand my self esteem was tied up with the success or failure of this next journey I was about to take.
