If an injury has knocked you off track and you can't find the energy to get going again, Rose's story is for you.
A few months ago Rose was coming out of several months of low activity after an injury. In her words: "My energy was low, I'd lost strength, and my motivation had taken a hit too." That is a hard place to start from. The longer you sit in it, the harder it gets.
Rose started anyway. She began training with Jonathan, and the changes came faster than she expected.
"I'm sleeping better, I have noticeably more energy, and I can feel that I'm stronger. I've dropped at least 3kg and I'm fitting into clothes that haven't fit for over a year."
Her sessions are 30 minutes. That's it. And she says she has never worked harder in a gym than she does in those half hours:
"I've worked harder in my half-hour sessions with Jonathan than I have ever before in a gym. He manages to wring out my best, but I always feel completely safe knowing he won't let me injure myself. I have total confidence and trust in his expertise."
That balance matters after an injury. You need someone who will push you, and someone who knows exactly when not to. Jonathan does both.
Rose isn't done. With the foundation in place, her focus now is improving her posture and flexibility while continuing to get stronger.
Her advice for anyone in the same position:
"Just start, even if you feel flat and unmotivated. You don't need the energy first; it comes from doing the work. Find a trainer you trust, be patient with your body after an injury, and notice the small wins like better sleep, because they add up quickly."
Rose says The Right Fit Personal Training is working for her. "Everyone is so friendly and they even welcome my dog while I work out!" He's the handsome one in the middle of the photo.
Great work, Rose. You showed up when it was hardest, and the results followed. And well done Jonathan on bringing her back safely and getting the best out of her every session.
